During part of our time in Malawi we volunteered with Marion Medical Mission. Bob, our daughter, Chelsea, and I drove big trucks to deliver well parts to villages.

Many people in villages have no water close by. They often have to walk a long way to a stream or even a dirty puddle to collect water. They they carry it home on their heads.

The villagers dug the wells. We delivered the well parts. And when they put it all together, they had clean water close to their homes.

Imagine the singing and dancing and shouts of joy when villagers saw water coming from the pump!
